Magnolia Trees

Magnolia Stelatta "Star Magnolia"

Magnolia "Stelatta Rosea"

Eastern Redbud (Full bloom)
Magnolia Stellata, sometimes called the star magnolia is a slow growing shrub or small tree
native to Japan with large showy white or pink flowers in early spring before the
appearance of the leaves.
This tree grows 15 to 20 ft in height, and spreads to 4.6m in width
at maturity,
and displays upright oval growth in youth, and spreads and mounds with age.
The tree blooms at a young age, with the
slightly fragrant 3/4 inch flowers covering the bare
plant in late winter or early spring before the leaves appear.
